Which Way is REALLY the BEST way?
That’s my question for you today? Which way is the best way to market your home based business and how should you implement the actions?
Some may say that’s the best way to market is by slapping everyone you know (friends, brothers, sisters, mothers, and whoever else) with their “sales pitch”; trying their best to get someone or anyone to join their business. They’ll say “Oh you just have to join me!” as if to say “If you don’t you’ll stay broke forever!” Do you really believe that? Me personally, I DON’T! In no way shape or manner is that true. You are responsible for deciphering which way is the best way for YOU to market your home based business, NOBODY else is.
You know something… I have some ventilation to do…so just roll with me…
There are so many ways to market one’s business, whether it’s offline or online. Let’s just say for the sake of saying, you’ve been in the internet marketing business for a while now. You have made an ok amount of money with various programs (nothing you’ll quit your day job for). You’ve been joining programs and meeting new people, socializing, networking and stuff…you know, and it’s all good. You’ve learned method of marketing that’s getting you leads, prospects or good traffic to your site.
(Now, by this time you’ve got a fairly good downline going and a pretty good following) so you decide that you want to grow it. How would you go about growing your downline? From the marketing methods you’ve learned…you know that it’s important to provide value to others, give more than you ask for, have a target market, and attract leaders (attraction marketing method), youtube marketing, articles, blogs and stuff like that.
With your knowledge of this wealth of information, methods and techniques you should be able to double that marketing or be more creative in your marketing to attract yet more leads and increase your conversions. Now…within the programs that you’ve joined over time, you have people that know you or at least know about you and you’d like to offer help or more resources to them by offering them another business opportunity to join…and there’s nothing wrong with that, HOWEVER, you must know how to approach people when you want to join forces. Yes, all the methods I’ve mentioned above are effective, but do you realize that everyone that you may offer this opportunity to may not be as receptive to it as others may be.
Everyone is different and we all have our own perspective on things and how things should be done. No matter where you’re from weather you come from the same city, background, hood, ghetto, projects, and neighborhood or wherever…EVERY PERSON YOU COME INTO CONTACT WITH IS DIFFERENT. So that means… (Obviously) you cannot treat and approach every person you come into contact with the same way…no matter if you “think” they relate you or understand where you come from or whatever the case may be.
Ok…So what I mean by that little rant is that you have to be wise in the way that you approach and interact with others when you’re hopping to do business with them. You never know what situation that person is in or where they are at in their internet marketing venture (newbie or veteran). That’s way it a rule of thumb to get to know your lead or prospect before you attempt to recruit them or either wait until they express interest in your opportunity or ask you about it THEN that would indicate your “green light”(attraction marketing…attract the right people to YOU). You know what I’m saying?
Just because that person may relate to you or be from where you’re from means nothing. You have to still follow the correct techniques and marketing strategies. Now I know most you that’s reading this blog may be saying “Whatever Toni, you don’t know what you’re talking about.” And that’s okay, you’re entitled to your opinion, all I know is what I’ve been taught and what has worked for me so this is my perspective on the issue.
That’s why I always say in my blogs that it’s important to really be more focused on providing value and helping others more so than concentrating on making money or getting another lead or prospect into your business. Like I said you have to be willing to GIVE more than want. That simple sentence right there is so valuable in itself and (in my opinion) is the real key to success when it comes to an online business (or any business for that matter).
