Here are some tips for setting up your Myspace and tips for targeting the right type of like minded people:

1.) When your setting up your myspace page you want to be sure that it's set up properly. You want to utilize the My Story Marketing Method so that all people that view your page get to know about who your are, where you're from, and where you're going or where you are now. 2.) You want to make sure that you have pictures of you smiling and you spending happy quality time with your family. You don't want your page to be to glitzy and glam, be sure to present your page in a professional and organized matter showing you know what your doing and that your are a real person and know the importance of image.

3.) In your blogs or videos you want to make sure that your content is worth the reader/viewers time, be sure to keep in mind that you want to be helpful to that person and build trust so that they can grow to like and trust you as a real person.

4.) Remember before you can expect a person to join you in your business, you want to be patient and first build a relationship with them. Once they express interest in you or your business then you can direct them to your product or site, by doing this, it increases you chances of gaining a new business partner.

Which Way is REALLY the BEST way?

That’s my question for you today? Which way is the best way to market your home based business and how should you implement the actions?

Some may say that’s the best way to market is by slapping everyone you know (friends, brothers, sisters, mothers, and whoever else) with their “sales pitch”; trying their best to get someone or anyone to join their business. They’ll say “Oh you just have to join me!” as if to say “If you don’t you’ll stay broke forever!” Do you really believe that? Me personally, I DON’T! In no way shape or manner is that true. You are responsible for deciphering which way is the best way for YOU to market your home based business, NOBODY else is.

You know something… I have some ventilation to do…so just roll with me…

There are so many ways to market one’s business, whether it’s offline or online. Let’s just say for the sake of saying, you’ve been in the internet marketing business for a while now. You have made an ok amount of money with various programs (nothing you’ll quit your day job for). You’ve been joining programs and meeting new people, socializing, networking and stuff…you know, and it’s all good. You’ve learned method of marketing that’s getting you leads, prospects or good traffic to your site.

(Now, by this time you’ve got a fairly good downline going and a pretty good following) so you decide that you want to grow it. How would you go about growing your downline? From the marketing methods you’ve learned…you know that it’s important to provide value to others, give more than you ask for, have a target market, and attract leaders (attraction marketing method), youtube marketing, articles, blogs and stuff like that.

With your knowledge of this wealth of information, methods and techniques you should be able to double that marketing or be more creative in your marketing to attract yet more leads and increase your conversions. Now…within the programs that you’ve joined over time, you have people that know you or at least know about you and you’d like to offer help or more resources to them by offering them another business opportunity to join…and there’s nothing wrong with that, HOWEVER, you must know how to approach people when you want to join forces. Yes, all the methods I’ve mentioned above are effective, but do you realize that everyone that you may offer this opportunity to may not be as receptive to it as others may be.

Everyone is different and we all have our own perspective on things and how things should be done. No matter where you’re from weather you come from the same city, background, hood, ghetto, projects, and neighborhood or wherever…EVERY PERSON YOU COME INTO CONTACT WITH IS DIFFERENT. So that means… (Obviously) you cannot treat and approach every person you come into contact with the same way…no matter if you “think” they relate you or understand where you come from or whatever the case may be.

Ok…So what I mean by that little rant is that you have to be wise in the way that you approach and interact with others when you’re hopping to do business with them. You never know what situation that person is in or where they are at in their internet marketing venture (newbie or veteran). That’s way it a rule of thumb to get to know your lead or prospect before you attempt to recruit them or either wait until they express interest in your opportunity or ask you about it THEN that would indicate your “green light”(attraction marketing…attract the right people to YOU). You know what I’m saying?

Just because that person may relate to you or be from where you’re from means nothing. You have to still follow the correct techniques and marketing strategies. Now I know most you that’s reading this blog may be saying “Whatever Toni, you don’t know what you’re talking about.” And that’s okay, you’re entitled to your opinion, all I know is what I’ve been taught and what has worked for me so this is my perspective on the issue.

That’s why I always say in my blogs that it’s important to really be more focused on providing value and helping others more so than concentrating on making money or getting another lead or prospect into your business. Like I said you have to be willing to GIVE more than want. That simple sentence right there is so valuable in itself and (in my opinion) is the real key to success when it comes to an online business (or any business for that matter).

What is your reason for “why” you’re looking to start an online business??

Of course, we all know the “obvious” reason and that is to make money. But, it should be MORE than that.

I know most of you started your search for an online business because “unconsciously” YOU were looking for a long term or short term SOLUTION to a problem that you had, or is still having….Think about that…Isn’t it true??

Maybe you needed to make some extra money to make rent at the beginning of the month….Maybe your in debt and your looking for a way or a “solution” to get out….Maybe you want to provide a better quality of life for your kids or your family…We all have our different reasons, and we all are looking for a solution to our problems. If your goal is to succeed in an online business or working from home, then you HAVE to have a deeper reason (like the ones listed above) than just to “make money“.

I know my “why“…My why is because I don’t want to have continue to walk from point A to point B, I don’t want to have to take public transportation for the rest of my life, I don’t want to have walk and carry groceries because I only have enough money to get to the grocery store, I don’t want to have to be on food stamps forever, I don’t want to have to depend on others to support me, I am SO tired of walking every other day just so I can get a NEEDLE stuck in my arm to give plasma…just so I can have enough fair for the bus, to get myself out of the DEBT that my MOTHER got me into in the first place when I was younger….I have numerous reasons more than I can even type….But BIGGEST reason is to PROVE to myself that I CAN be successful online, and to show others how to be successful as well, to show all the ones who’ve talked down about me that I can make it….Those are my “whys“, my reasons and I’ve found my solution…

Do you have your Why?? Have you taken the time out to really evaluate and assets yourself to figure out why? Have you made your pursuit about MORE than just making money online? If you haven’t….I strongly suggest that you do so because that is what is going to give you a GENUINE drive to succeed, that is what going to fuel your determination, that is what is going to help you prove to yourself that you can successfully make money online…Do you understand what I’m saying?

Are we meant to struggle for the rest of our lives?? If you ask me, the answer is NO! Just because some of us come from the "Projects" or the Ghetto, Hood, Trailer Park or where ever DOES NOT MEAN WE HAVE TO STAY THERE! God made us all so that WE have freewill, that means that we have a CHOICE in weather or not we are going to stay struggling in life. Everyone one has the potential to be successful in any and every thing that we do, IF we really want it and WORK HARD to get it.

Where there is a will there is most certainly a way to rise up and stand up and be NOTICED. Some of us grow up in the WORST situations and we end up stuck in it because we LET ourselves. Because we let others tell us what were capable of doing. Please don't let what others may have told you, or said to you "You'll NEVER amount to nothing" "You'll always be poor" "You ain't gonna ever make it out the hood" "You ain't smart enough to be successful" Dictate what you make out of your life. Remember YOU have a CHOICE in weather you succeed or fail.

Marketing your online business. I want you guys to step back and take a look at yourselves, I mean really evaluate your tactics and the way you market your online business...ask yourself "How I market my online business? Do you market "yourself" or do you market your company? Have you evolved from old school marketing into 20th century markeing? When you meet new people are you blind siding them with your "sales pitch" or are you taking the time to get to KNOW them?

You guys should really think about that...People are changing and the "old skool" way of marketing is NOT working anymore. When it come to marketing your online business people do not buy your "sales pitch", people are more interested in you getting to know them as a person. You have to build up a relationship and gain their trust. It's not all about "Oh, I have to get this person to join my online business" or "Once THIS person sees my online business opp, they CAN'T say no." WRONG! If you do this, you're leave a sour taste in peoples mouths when you just slap them in the face with your sales transcript or what have you.

You have no way of knowing if YOUR online business is right for them, you're just ASSUMING that it is. I get so many different (bad) "sales pitches" in my email inbox with a LONG sales pitch or a link to check this out a site without even so much as a "Hey", "Hello" or, "How ya doing?" Do you really think that's gonna get you a sale? No, it won't because those days are gone, it just doesn't work like that anymore. We are in the 20th century, we all have to realize this and 20th century marketing is what we all should be utilizing. There are COMPLETELY new methods of online marketing available to you; for us to learn and if you haven't caught up, then I suggest you get smart and start right now or else get left behind.

Think about these questions when marketing online, "How can I HELP this person." "What VALUE can I be to this person?" these should be questions should be your main focus and concern...you understand what I'm saying? This is how you start attracting leads instead of annoying and chasing them down (I'll talk about that in a furture blog).

Success follows value...Think about that.

Provide VALUE and genuine INTEREST in a person and success will surely follow.

Home Based Business and Your Mind Set, Do you know how important this is?

Ok, so you want to start a home based business…Now what? Well first let me tell you this, “You cannot start anything (especially a home based business) if your mind set is not right. What I mean by mind set is this: Your mind set is the drive and the force that propels your actions. You have to have it already made up in your mind that this is what you seriously want to do and what you are devoted to make work for you. Whenever you start anything it’s SO important that you are able to commit to it and see it all the way through until the very end.

Your mind set determines how far you’re going to go within your business or with any opportunity you embark on. If you have starting a home based business is your solution for a problem or issue you are having in your life, then the very beginnings of your success starts within mind set. In all actuality, you’re going to have to change yourself and maybe some of your ways (bad habits) and fix them first in order to effectively expedite your plan to successfully run your online or home based business. If you’re one of those people seeking a get rich quick type of thing and you’re thinking “Oh, all I have to do is a little online advertising and I’ll be rolling in the money” NO that is not it; or if you’re (admit it) SELFISH and think that your starting your business just to benefit yourself and not others, then NO that’s not it either.

There are so many aspects to starting a home based business and mind set is (in my opinion) the most important of them all. Having the “right mind set” involves being driven and determined to make whatever it is you decide to start work for you. It involves educating yourself first and gaining knowledge and doing through research of what it is that you wish to succeed in.

It requires you to be fully prepared to TAKE ACTION and put to work the materials you’ve studied and apply what you’ve learned. It requires persistence (I cannot stress this enough); if you start a home based business and after a week or so you quit because you’re not seeing the results you want right off the bat, you can’t just throw in the towel and moves on to the next business, because if you do then you’re just wasting your time, money and effort. If one method of marketing isn’t working for you then you move on the next method and keep trying until you get the results that you want (and then you maintain those efforts, don’t slack off).

What it boils all down to is not being lazy and not making excuses or being whinny when your starting your home based business, it just doesn't make any sense (you if it's something you really want to do). You have to be responsible for your results and your mind set is what’s going to lead you to your success. You don’t let anyone or anybody stop you from becoming a success, if you let outside forces affect you then you’re allowing your mind to be poisoned and that’s what you don’t want. The concept is simple but is not always easy for some to carry out.

The answer to this question is “YES YOU CAN”. Now, I know your thinking “Yeah right, how am I supposed to start a home based business?” And yes you probably don’t know the first thing about what it takes to start your own home based business but are you going to let that stop you? Home based businesses are IN FACT the solution to the FINANCIAL CRISIS America is in at this time, especially for the minority population.

Just look around you, banks are crashing, large corporations are crumbling, insanely high gas prices AND the cost of food is at a all time high as a direct result of these crazy gas prices. Even the CELEBRITIES are affected by the gas prices, {Sean “P Diddy” Combs Can’t even afford gas to put in his own PRIVATE JET and his now forced to fly on commercial air lines (check out his video blog) }.

How are we possibly suppose survive in today’s economy. Do you actually think that your (9 to 5) is secured? Ok, if you do then here’s your wake up call “EVERY ONE OF US ARE DISPOSABLE” Yes in case you didn’t know, now you do. Your company or job can decide today or tomorrow that they don’t need you anymore…and then, guess what, you are now part of the thousands of unemployed Americans who are getting no or very little help from our “government”.

So this is the question you need to be asking yourself, How do I save myself from this financial crisis?” The answer may be staring you in the face.
